Rachel & Ben at Dyffryn Springs, Cardiff

The picture of Rachel & Ben braving hay fever & the rapeseed dwelling beasties at Dyffryn Springs is one of my absolute favourite wedding photographs I’ve ever taken. It was definitely worth dodging the daddy-long-legs to catch those bright yellow blossoms against the clear blue sky. Rachel & Ben were married at a midday ceremony at Cardiff City Hall before hopping in a vintage Volkswagen (Frankie from LoveDub Weddings) and travelling to their countryside reception alongside the glittering lake in Dyffryn. After a delicious afternoon tea in the marquee everyone piled outside to enjoy the sunshine; playing lawn games (I had to include the shots of the mishap with the ball!) and lounging on inflatable Chesterfield style sofas. Rachel & Ben spent their honeymoon road tripping around America visiting the national parks featured in their table plan – perfect!
