Ooh, it’s been a while but now we’re in October, wedding season is slowing down and I’m finding time to catch up on blogging my summer’s work. Judging by the pink faces, necks & shoulders at the end of the night, I think it’s fair to say this wedding was unexpectedly one of the hottest days of the year! Emma & Tom were married in an outdoor humanist ceremony in the gardens of Rhossili Village Hall on the Gower coast. The ocean view was bright & clear beyond the fields of sheep & horses. The wonderful thing about an informal venue such as this is that you have the freedom to do so much more with the place and Emma’s efforts truly transformed the interior. It was beautiful. A white canopy trimmed with bunting hung from the ceiling to brighten the room which was decorated in cornflower blue & cream. There were bunches of hydrangeas, sprigs of lavender & gypsophila in pretty bottles, mis-matched glass centrepieces sprayed cream by the bride and paper hearts cut from vintage maps. Thank you Simon Ayre for helping second shoot and sorry for the sunburn!
