Vicki & Owain at Canada Lake & Lodge, Cardiff

Vicki & Owain were married late last summer at the picturesque Canada Lake & Lodge on the second anniversary of the day they met. Romance abound! The groom wrote a poem which his Father read during the ceremony, they danced a choreographed tango (in those glittering Louboutins!) and lots of happy tears were shed as we were swept away in the emotion of the day. Vicki handmade almost everything for the wedding – from the silk bouquets, her sash & hairpiece, the bridal party accessories in pistachio green & warm cocoa, hand painted champagne flutes for every guest, chocolate truffles (delicious by the way!), the Italian themed table decor and so much more. The bridesmaids were even altering the dress as Vicki was getting into it that morning! We had all the weather from blazing sunshine to black skies and rain storms and the bride & groom were absolutely beaming at each other throughout. My favourite moment was when the registrar announced that they were husband and wife – Vicki & Owain flung their arms around each other, clearly thrilled to be married.
