Lynda & Paul at Goldstone Hall, Shropshire
“I want to get married at Goldstone Hall, If I can’t get married at Goldstone Hall, I don’t want to get married at all.” So goes the Shropshire folk song, and it’s easy to see why – the Georgian Manor House is filled with cosy corners and elegant country decor while the landscaped gardens feature an oak pavilion and a beautiful marquee. Two days after Christmas on the most perfect winter’s day with crisp, bright skies and crunchy snow on the ground, Lynda & Paul were married in the pavilion. The air was sharp with frost but they thoughtfully prepared for an outdoor ceremony by providing a roaring wood fire and snuggly blankets to keep guests toasty. Then it was inside for drinks in the Manor House and a feast in the marquee – look at the beautiful presentation on the cheese & bread cakes! Lynda & Paul chose sparkly, festive decor with snowball shaped arrangements of gypsophila, fairy lit Christmas trees and flickering candlelight. It was a real pleasure to be involved and I was touched by the lovely speeches and the warmth and friendliness of the guests. Thank you to Richie for second shooting.
