Caroline & Ross at Fonmon Castle, Cardiff
Caroline & Ross (who you may recognise from occasional appearances with Goldie Lookin Chain) were my first wedding of 2013 and oh my goodness, it was about the wettest wedding I’ve ever photographed! I mud splattered my new car driving down some extremely narrow & sloppy country lanes, the bridal car broke down not far behind me and the rain poured incessantly! But everyone was in such good spirits so thankfully none of that mattered. The couple were married at St Mary’s church in Penmark with the reception at Fonmon Castle. Due to the April showers we took most of the bride & groom portraits indoors in the beautiful Rococo library and as a result I think some of the pictures look like a society wedding straight from the pages of Hello magazine! Caroline wore a gorgeous long sleeved dress with a lace appliqué bodice (I will find out the name of the designer asap) and carried a pretty pastel bouquet from The Florist of Cardiff. Oh and many thanks to Andrew for second shooting, assisting and holding my umbrella!
