Sophie & Tom at Penally Abbey Hotel, Tenby

Sophie & Tom were married in an intimate ceremony among their closest family & friends at Penally Abbey Hotel on the Pembrokeshire coast. The candlelit courtyard room is a deep forest green with sparkling brass details and decor – dramatic, but cosy and perfect for an early winter wedding.

Sophie wore a tea length House of Mooshki dress in blush pink with hand dyed lace overlays. These are the dresses that my dreams are made of… some even have collars! The sumptuous berry and blush florals were designed by Deborah Wilcocks Floral Design along with a eucalyptus table runner and a centrepiece of burgundy dahlias and cream roses.

I especially fell in love with the creeping red leaves that draped the old stone walls and the willow tree in the gardens where the little flower girls enjoyed twirling around on the lawn, despite dropping temperatures! Later we popped down onto the beach at Saundersfoot where Tom had proposed to Sophie (under much more blustery weather conditions!) for photographs. The tide was in so far there was only a tiny area of sand left and it was bustling with dog walkers, but I think we managed to hide it well!
