Melanie & Adam at Oldwalls, Gower

Melanie & Adam are an inspiration to smile, laugh and be your own true self on your wedding day… in fact, every day! Their wonderfully quirky Halloween themed wedding took place at Oldwalls Gower and many of the guests came in fancy dress. However, I was so focused on the bride and groom during the ceremony that I hadn’t fully taken this in yet so I had quite a surprise when I moved position only to catch a glimpse of a man on the edge of the aisle in a full face of Dracula make-up!

They were such a pleasure to be with, the music was awesome and this is surely the only wedding I’ll ever do where midway through the couple shoot someone shouts over to me, “Do you need The Winkle?!” The Winkle being their adorable chihuahua bridesmaid, Periwinkle. She was so sweet with her little tongue poking out! She also had plenty of friends to play with as guests were encouraged to bring their dogs too.

Melanie wore the Eros gown by Rembo Styling at Pleser Bridal Wear, jewellery by Virginia the Wolf & Bloody Mary Metal, and Alexander McQueen skull shoes. Her hair and make-up were by the fabulous Farhana Ali. Adam wore a Marc Darcy suit. Florals were styled by The Dancing Daffodil.
